[Bernama] India Offers Scholarships In Traditional Medicine Courses

"The Government of India is offering scholarships for Malaysian students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Indian traditional medicine - Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Sowa Rigpa and Homeopathy (AYUSH).

The High Commission of India in a statement here Tuesday said it welcomed applications from Malaysian nationals who wished to pursue courses in AYUSH for the 2013-14 academic year.

The statement said that 15 places had been allocated for Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery, Bachelor of Siddha Medicine & Surgery, Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery, Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Science in Yoga.

Postgraduate courses are M.D Ayurveda, M.D Siddha, M.D. Unani and M.D Homeopathy, and Ph.D in Ayurveda." -Source -Bernama
