"Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji Sri Swamiji came to Irving Friday as part of the North America Telugu Society’s two-day conference at the Irving Convention Center. The event ends tonight with a carnival from 7 to 9 p.m. on the balcony of the center.
Irving Mayor Pro Tem Gerald Farris officially welcomed the group Friday afternoon. About 4,000 guests were expected to attend the conference that took over three levels of the center.
